2018 Jet Blue Long Beach Marathon - LLB Volunteers @ Mile 7.5 Water Station

Two Shifts:  5:30 - 8:30 am, 8:00 - 11:30 am
7.5 Mile Water Station (below Junipero & Ocean)

Join Leadership Long Beach alumni, family and friends as we volunteer for the 2018 Jet Blue Long Beach Marathon at the 7.5 Mile Water Station on Sunday, October 7.  This is a great opportunity to help cheer on and serve the 15,000 runners, bikers and walkers that have accepted the challenge of competing in the half and full marathons. 

Register today!  Registered volunteers will receive a t-shirt! Please register by October 1!
Volunteers will need to register (button above), provide contact information and shirt size and fill out this waiver form. 
Volunteers under 18 years old MUST register and have their parent/guardian sign their waiver form (MANDATORY).

EVENT DETAILS:

When:  Sunday, October 7th from 5 AM until 11:30 AM (approx.)

Where:  Beach parking lot below Juniper Avenue and Ocean Blvd (just east of the Long Beach Museum of Art)

What:  Volunteer for a few hours on the Sunday morning helping with setup, passing out water, cheering on marathon participants, and cleaning up at the end.

We need lots of "cheerleaders" and volunteers to hand out water cups as the marathoners go by, with peak times at 6:30 am, 8:00 am, 8:20 am and 10:00 am.  Plus help will be needed at the end for cleanup and station breakdown.

We had a 70's/Disco theme for our volunteers last year and are looking to do the same this year.
