Volunteers will work with The Maye Center to build a garden that will serve as a means of therapy to the community. The work involved will entail pulling weeds, building potato planters, building a garden including ponds, art and crafts such as painting on the fence, drawing, creating garden signs and planting flowers.

AGE RESTRICTIONS:  None

 

FAMILY FRIENDLY:  Yes

 

SPECIAL SKILLS/TOOLS:  Please wear work/comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes.  You may want to wear a hat and apply sunblock for the outdoor work conditions.  Please bring water and you can bring your own gloves.
