2018 Holiday Party

Join us for the 2018 Holiday Party on Monday, December 17 at Looffs Lite-A-Line, 2500 Long Beach Blvd.  This iconic Long Beach location is host to some unique memorabilia from the old venues and shops of the early days of the Pike.  Gather with your fellow alumni and LLB supporters as we celebrate during this holiday season our upcoming 30th Anniversary events, including news about our 30th Anniversary event in June!

Enjoy an evening of music, food, drinks, community and good cheer!

This will be a great time to re-connect with your LLB classmates, co-workers, friends and families of Leadership Long Beach.

Located in Central Long Beach, Looffs Lite-A-Line is an old-style entertainment center that houses some memorabilia, photos and artifacts from the arcade and amusement venues and is officially classified as a carousel museum.  The Looffs Pike Amusement Park had carnival game shops as well as rides along the boardwalk area of Downtown Long Beach beginning in 1940's, but the Looff's company made its name on the carousels, roller coasters and amusement parks by Charles Looff, master wood carver.

 Parking:  There is no available parking at Looffs, but we have secured a parking arrangement and a shuttle van from the Wrigley Marketplace Plaza to Looffs. The shuttle will depart regularly from the Starbucks (281 E. Willow Street) starting at 5:30 PM. We will have a security person stationed near the Starbucks to direct you to the shuttle or to Looffs. However, you can make that short walk from the parking to Looffs in less than 5 minutes. Please do not park in spaces near Starbucks as we want to save them for their patrons to use.

Lite-A-Line game play: We have made arrangements to the Lite-A-Line game available for play as part of the holiday party. Around 7 PM, we will give instructions on how to play the game and begin shortly after. We will be selling a game card for 4 game plays at $20 each. With each game we will present the winner with a prize. We are planning on 12 games for the night.

We will have the entire facility for us and we will make opportunities to play the games.
